Terms of Service.

Coalstoke is a wholesale email verification service. You pay a monthly base plus a small metered charge per successful verification. The current rates are on the pricing page and we email you before any change.

Charge-on-success only. We charge for verifications that returned found. We don’t charge for catch_all, protected,not_found, or errors. That’s the whole point — you only pay for the leads that produced a usable email.

• Use the API and dashboard to verify emails and find contact information for legitimate business purposes.
• Store the verification results, integrate them into your CRM or outbound tool, act on them.
• Resell the results if you have a wholesale agreement with us — details at coalstoke.com/partners.

• Use verifications for spam campaigns, phishing, or any illegal purpose.
• Resell individual verifications to third parties as a standalone service without a wholesale agreement.
• Reverse-engineer the engine, scrape the /benchmark HTML page for competitive intelligence (there’s a public JSON endpoint at /v1/benchmark/summary for that — use it), or attempt to overload the free-tools tier with bots.
• Share your API key. If someone else needs access, add them as a team member (feature shipping soon) or issue them their own key.

Every CSV you upload, every verification you run, every enrichment result — you own it. We’re a data processor, not the owner. You can export or delete any of it at any time from the dashboard.

If you delete your account we remove your verification records within 7 days. R2 uploads auto-delete after 30 days regardless.

Cancel from the dashboard billing tab any time. You keep access to your dashboard, exports, and current verifications until the end of the paid period. We don’t auto-renew after a canceled month.

• Automatic: charge-on-success already refunds credits automatically for verifications that didn’t return found.
• Manual: if we screw up — wrong result returned, service unavailable, weird billing anomaly — reply to any invoice email and I’ll refund. No form to fill out.

The service works as described on the site. But email verification is inherently probabilistic — no vendor can guarantee 100% accuracy, and any vendor claiming that is lying. Our real segmented precision numbers are at coalstoke.com/benchmark — they update live from production D1.

We don’t warrant that the service will meet any specific business goal, only that it performs the technical operations described. Uptime target is 99.9% on the API; if we fall below that in a given month I’ll credit affected accounts proactively.

Whatever you paid us in the last 12 months. Standard SaaS limitation. We’re not liable for lost profits, business interruption, or consequential damages beyond that cap.

If you have a wholesale agreement with us (see coalstoke.com/partners), the terms of that agreement supersede these standard terms wherever they conflict. In particular: pricing tiers, volume commits, notice periods, and white-label brand usage are governed by the wholesale contract, not this page.

Missouri, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in St Louis County, Missouri.

I’ll email everyone with an account at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. Small clarifications may happen without notice — check the “last updated” date at the top.
