The engine runs a live SMTP handshake against the destination mail server for every address, learns how each domain formats its names, and cross-references public sources — certificate transparency logs, package registries, commit history — to surface addresses that pattern-matching alone would miss. Every result returns with a documented status: deliverable, catch_all, protected, or undeliverable.
We built Coalstoke on the premise that verification is a data-quality problem, not a feature you bolt onto a lead list after the fact. Bounce rate and sender reputation are downstream of what your verification layer actually confirmed — so we built ours to confirm, not guess.
